Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, June 6, 2014, Karon Sue Boswell, 67.
Karon taught many subjects at T.W. Josey High School until her retirement. As a teacher she not only molded young minds but she also made positive, long lasting impacts on the lives of her students. As a friend, she enriched the lives of and spirits of everyone around her with her infectious smile and unwavering optimism. She was a kind hearted, generous soul who was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harry Boswell and Dona Meisel, as well as a brother Harry Joe Boswell. She leaves behind her brother: Stan Boswell; sister: Sandra Shultz; six nephews: Hunter Barrow, Kolby Benthal. Chase Benthal, Xander Blanchard, Solomen Blanchard and Isaiah Blanchard, and four nieces: Allison Benthal, Kayla Benthal, Delainey Blanchard and Julianne Blanchard.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 5:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Don Prosser officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
The family will receive friends Thursday for one hour before the service, beginning at 4:00 P.M.
