Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, July 17, 2013, Mrs. Katherine T. Siple, 91, wife of the late Mr. Jimmie S. Siple.
Mrs. Siple was a member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta. She worked with her husband for many years in the restaurant business. She was a great mother, cook and gardener. She taught all of her children to share and give to others. Most importantly, she taught her children and husband about the love of Jesus Christ.
Family members include daughter: Hebe Siple Wren (Donald) of Waynesboro, GA; sons: Frank Thames Siple (Sherry) of Flowery Branch, GA and Charles Benjamin Siple (Jackie) of Rockledge, FL; daughter-in law: Nancy Siple of Martinez; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; sisters: Hazel Eaves and Gladys Smith both of New Ellenton, SC. She was preceded in death by her son Jimmie Don Siple.
A graveside service will be held Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Wallace Hoyle officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta at P.O. Box 14489, Augusta, GA 30919.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
