Harlem, GA – Ms. Kathy Baston Murphy, 58, entered into rest on Monday, December 3, 2012.
Ms. Murphy was a native and lifelong resident of Columbia County. She loved the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, the Georgia Bulldogs, Elvis, and enjoyed Bible studies. Ms. Murphy was a loving and dedicated mother.
Family members include son: Michael R. Murphy; parents: Catherine Baston and the late Billy Baston; sister: Bobbie Baston Daniel; nieces: Jessica McManus, Jamie M. McCard, Talisa Monroe, Tara Childers, Tiffany White; great nephews: Flint McCard, Clay McCard; and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Sonny Serigney officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church Food Pantry, 670 East Robinson Avenue, Grovetown, GA 30813.
