Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday at her residence after a long illness, Mrs. Kathy DeBarge Beebe, 53 of Augusta, GA.
Ms. Beebe was born in Augsburg, Germany but lived in Augusta most of her life. She was a 1975 graduated from the Academy of Richmond County and attended Augusta College. Ms. Beebe was employed for a number of years as a medical receptionist at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. She was very artistic and loved her animals. Ms. Beebe was a devoted member of Central Church of Christ and was a caring and giving person.
Family members include father: Raymond L. DeBarge, mother: the late Irene B. DeBarge, daughter: the late Alana Katherine Beebe, brothers: Dr. L. Raymond DeBarge and the late Robert Patrick DeBarge, sisters: Patricia D. House and Tina D. Young, 4 nieces and 4 nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son. The family will receive friends following the service.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 4:00 at Central Church of Christ on Petersburg Rd. The family will receive friends following the service.
