Kellett Anne Bentley Taylor
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, Mrs. Kellett Anne Bentley Taylor, wife of Robert Keith Taylor.
Kellett was born in and grew up in Augusta, Georgia and had lived in Blue Ridge, Ga for several years. She was a current resident of Grovetown, Ga. She graduated from Augusta Christian Schools and attended Reinhardt University. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, where she was a former member of the choir.
Kellett will be remembered as a loving, kind lady who treasured her family and friends. She had a sweet and generous nature and enjoyed nothing more than to spend time with her loved ones. She encouraged others and would do all she could to help someone in need. Her faith was very important to her, and provided a strong foundation for her life. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Kellett will be forever missed, but her legacy will live on through our shared memories of her.
Her family members include: her husband, Robert Keith Taylor; her son, Zachary Judson Weldon; her stepchildren, Aubrey Wright, Josh (Madison) and Dylan Taylor; grandchildren, Skylar and Logan; her sister, Carolyn Bentley Cannon (Chris), mother-in-law Jean Kernaghan (Bob Trescott); brother-in-law Mack Taylor (Lori); brother-in-law Trey Kernaghan; sister-in-law Heather Lavey (Mick); her nephews and niece, Chris (Shelby) and Matthew Cannon, Finn Taylor and Vivian Taylor.
Kellett is preceded in death by her parents, Judson Terry and Clemmie Steinhauer Bentley, and her brother, John Judson (Jay) Bentley.
Pallbearers will be her brothers-in-law: Trey Kernaghan and Mack Taylor; nephews: Chris and Matthew Cannon, stepsons: Josh and Dylan Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Thomas Poteet & Son, Augusta, Georgia.
The funeral service will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Augusta, Georgia, with Rev. Brett DeHart officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
