Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, December 25, 2021, Mr. Kevin M. Doyle, 60, loving husband of Linda H. “Bunnie” Doyle .
Kevin was born in Ft Bragg, NC but was a long time resident of Augusta. He was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County, attended the University of Georgia and graduated from Augusta College. He retired from the Medical College of Georgia where he was very influential in opening many nursing units as well as the completion of the dental school. After retirement he went on to work for AIG retirement services where he loved working with the Richmond County School System. Kevin never met a stranger, he loved meeting new people and striking up conversation; even earning the nickname amongst his family as “the mayor”. His children were his pride and joy. He never missed a sporting event or school function and was active at Westside High School, the school his children attended. He was a member of the Westside High Boosters Club, was a past president, and supported the athletic department even after his children graduated. Kevin loved all sports and was an avid outdoorsman; if he wasn’t hunting or fishing on Saturday you could find him cheering on the Bulldogs. He was an active member of the community. He was a member of the Irish American Society, Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church, Brynwood Swim Club, and of course the Augusta Georgia Bulldog Club. Kevin was a loving husband, father, uncle, friend and coach.
