Kheri Cooper Cash

Evans, GA - Kheri Edwina Cooper Cash passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4, 2024. 

Kheri was born on June 22, 1972, in Florence, Alabama to Roy and Donna Cooper. She was of the Christian faith and a member at Warren Baptist Church. Recently, the family was attending Parkway Baptist Church in Evans, GA. Kheri was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She furthered her education by obtaining a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a specialist degree in Leadership. For 29 years, Kheri nurtured young minds with kindness and patience, leaving an indelible mark on her students and the community, yet her passions extended well beyond the classroom. 

Kheri enjoyed volunteering with the Children's Choir, teaching Sunday School classes, as well as Vacation Bible School, and her other hobbies included cooking, music, reading, shopping, and spending time with friends. Kheri exudes grace, beauty, and elegance. She was lovingly referred to as a real-life Disney princess by her friends. Kheri married the love of her life and best friend, Kevin in June of 2009. Their son, Cooper Rian Cash, was born in January of 2013. Motherhood came naturally to Kheri and more than anything else in life, she was a devoted mom to Cooper. Kheri was so proud of him and loved him so much. Kevin and Cooper filled her life with immense joy and happiness. Kheri’s legacy is one of unwavering love and commitment to family, friends, and education. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her, and her memory will be a blessing to her family and the many lives she touched.

Kheri is survived by her loving family; husband, Kevin Cash; son, Cooper Cash, parents, Roy and Donna Cooper; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Gina Cooper; sister-in-law, Karen Cash; nephew, Chase Cooper; nieces, Sydney and Cora Cooper; and many other caring family members. She was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, James and Ginny Cash. 

The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Parkway Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Conway officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made for the educational benefit of her son Cooper Cash at any South State Bank location. Please make checks payable to Cooper Cash.
