AUGUSTA, Ga. – Entered into rest Friday, November 6, 2009, Mrs. Kimberly Williams Ivey, 57, wife of Dan Ivey.
Mrs. Ivey was a native of Arlington, VA, but had resided in the Augusta area since 1966. Mrs. Ivey retired after having worked as an LPN at MCG for 20 years.
Family members in addition to her husband include her son: Donald Scott Williams of Augusta; daughter: Kortney Abbed of Augusta; grandchildren: Jeremy and Bailey Crocker; mother: Betty W. Evers of Augusta; brother: Robert A. Evers and wife Judy of Kansas City, KS; and sister: Diane E. Starr and husband Travis of Augusta. Mrs. Ivey was preceded in death by her daughter Stephanie Williams and her father Col. John C. Evers.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 9, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Dave Dillard officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
