Evans, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, January 6, 2016, Kristi Stone Secord, 44, loving wife to Mark Secord.
Kristi was a loving mother and wife. She was baptized in the Church of the Good Shepherd but attended the Church of Our Savior. She was a 1989 graduate of Westside High School and attended Augusta Tech where she received her Dental Certificate. Mrs. Secord was a dental assistant for Dr. Steve Wilson for more than 12 years. After leaving the dental profession Kristi started her own home cleaning business.
Family members in addition to her husband include her son: Asa Secord; daughter: Hanna Secord; sister: Kelly Stone of North Augusta, SC; mother: Ann Sorrow of Evans, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 11, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Fr. John West officiating. Burial will follow at the Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Autism Foundation of Georgia, 1551 Shoup Court, Decatur, GA 30033.
