Kurt Huttar

Martinez, GA – Kurt Arthur Huttar, 60, of Martinez GA, entered into rest at his residence on Monday, April 22, 2024.
 

Kurt was born on January 24, 1964, in Ithaca, New York, to John and Nancy Huttar. His education took him from Falls Mountain High in Langdon, New Hampshire, to The American School in Cairo, Egypt, concluding at Trumansburg High in Trumansburg, New York. After high school, Kurt earned an associate degree from Augusta Technical College in Augusta, Georgia and went on to work for many years as a systems engineer.

A lover of music and a talented musician, Kurt enjoyed the outdoors—especially camping, kayaking, and the ocean. He lived by the motto “Be Kind” and constantly strived to brighten the world with his humor.
 

Kurt was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nancy Wolff Huttar. He is survived by his stepmother, Judy Rastallis (Stanley); his daughter, Kirsten Huttar Thompson (Christopher); his son, Konrad Huttar; his sister, Karie Heffley (Mark); his brothers, Karlo and Kristian Huttar; and several loving cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by Kimberly Huttar, his lifelong friend and the mother of his children.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
