Larry A. Beran

Evans, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, Larry A. Beran, 85, loving husband of 58 years to Lorraine Wanzek Beran.

Larry was a native of Nebraska and a graduate of the University of Colorado. He served in the U.S. Army and had a 25-year career with the Army-Air Force Exchange Service in Thailand, Korea, Germany, and several states in the U.S. He retired to Evans, Georgia in 1993. Larry enjoyed gardening, woodworking, bass fishing and deer hunting in his spare time.

Family members in addition to his wife include brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ted Slagle, Sister Virginia Ann Wanzek, Joan (Bill) Herman, Bill (Lynn) Wanzek, Denny (Pat) Wanzek and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son: Lee; parents: Ben and Velma Beran and siblings: Jean Slagle and Richard (Ruth) Beran.

A private inurnment at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church Columbarium.
