Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Friday, October 19, 2012, Mrs. Lauree Winn Ware, 85, loving wife of 65 years to John Joe Ware.
Mrs. Ware was a native of Edgefield County, SC but lived in Augusta since 1945. She was a member of The Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Ware worked for Life and Casualty Insurance Company and for the Georgia Railroad Bank and Trust.
Family members in addition to her husband include daughters: Bonnie Ware Hadden (Hugh), Patricia Ware Thompson (Joe) and Jane Ware Honeycutt (Bruce); four grandchildren: Sarah Hadden Loop (Jimmie), Jennifer Hadden, Susan Honeycutt and Steve Honeycutt; and one great-grandson: James Loop.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 22, 2012, at 12 noon at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Fred Gunter officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association at 106 SRP Drive, Suite A, Evans, GA 30809 or to The Hill Baptist Church at 2165 Kings Way, Augusta, GA 30904.
