Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Doctors Hospital, Mrs. Leila Mae “Tweetsie” Riordan, 98, wife of the late Henry S. Riordan.
Mrs. Riordan was a native and life long resident of the Augusta area. She was a manager over the Foundation Department at Sears & Roebuck and worked from 1937 until 1972. She was a member of the Catholic faith.
Family members include her brother: W. L. West of Martinez; 11 nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and great nephews and several great great nieces and great great nephews. Mrs. Riordan was preceded in death by her sisters: Janie H. Leeking, Evelyn Knapp and brothers: Thomas Caldwell West and Charles Lane West.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Martino Ba Thong Nguyen officiating.
The family will receive friends tonight, Friday, July 17, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at
