AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Leonard Timothy Hill, 69, entered into rest on January 2, 2015.
Mr. Hill is the son of the late Leonard Elwood Hill and Ebbie Massey Hill. Survivors include his children, James Paxton Hill (Kate) of Cartersville, GA, Ashley Hill Weathers (Nathan) of Woodstock, GA, Blake Hill Leverett (Michael) of Augusta, and Andrew Middleton Hill of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren, Dagan Lee Weathers and Taylor Mackenzie Weathers; and sister, Dana Denny (Phil) of Greenville, SC.
Mr. Hill graduated from the University of Georgia with a major in landscape architecture. He was a member of the Augusta Board of Realtors, International Council of Shopping Centers, Augusta Country Club, Beech Island Agricultural Club, Church of the Good Shepherd, and served on the Board of Directors of Trees for Augusta. He was also a partner in Sunstates Development Group, a commercial development firm.
A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd on Tuesday, January 6 at noon. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until noon in the Parish Hall.
