Leonard Wilson, Jr.

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, October 30, 2022, Mr. Newton Leonard Wilson, Jr., 83.

Leonard was a lifelong native of Augusta. He retired after working over 30 years for Kimberly Clark. Leonard was a faithful member of Flowing Wells Worship Center. After retiring he enjoyed painting and spending time with his family.

Family members include his children: Rick Wilson, Cindy Allen (Mike), Patricia Hancock (Grady), Rhonda Kennedy (Chuck), Angie Pickard (Todd), Sherry Bentley (Ray), Marie Williams (Mike) and Yvonne Pruitt; nineteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Leonard was preceded in death by his wife: Verna Mae Wilson and sisters: Evelyn Landsdown and Betty Beckum.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Flowing Wells Worship Center with Pastor Tony Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
