Lewis Muns
Augusta, GA – Mr. Lewis C. Muns, 89, went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 28, 2014, loving husband of 66 years to Rosalie Tucker Muns.
Lewis was the owner of Service Garage on Reynolds Street in Augusta until his retirement. He was a veteran of the United States Army. During WWII he saw combat in Saipan and Tinian. He was an active member of Warren Baptist serving as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher.
Family members in addition to his wife include nephews Wayne (Phyllis) Kitchens, Evans, GA, Alan Tucker, Atlanta, GA and Steven Tucker, Albany, GA. special friends Susan Foster Tankersley, Evans, GA, and Beth Foster Morris, Orlando, FL., and Spencer Long, Evans, GA.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 30, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in
The Chapel at Warren Baptist Church with Dr. David McKinley and Rev. David Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jim Fleming, Billy Johnson, Bill Sailors, Jim Sechrist, Carey Tankersley, and Harry Wade.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons, Volunteer Class Members and members of the Monday Golf Group.

The family will receive friends in the Hattie Rhodes Langley Room adjacent to The Chapel one hour prior to the service.
