Upper Marlboro, MD- Elizabeth C. Seguin, 61, of Upper Marlboro, MD passed on Monday March 25, 2013 in Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, DC. Born in Biloxi, Mississippi she was a daughter of Louis H. Cook Jr. and the late Susan K. (Keen) Cook. She was married to Robert G. Seguin for thirty one years, celebrating their 31st anniversary on November 24, 2012. She was a social worker for the District of Columbia and then moved over to the Navel District of Washington where she retired from in 2000. She was a volunteer at the National Zoo for many years. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, nature, bird watching, and spending time with her family and many friends. She also enjoyed watching golf and even attended the Masters Tournament for a number of years.
In addition to her husband and father, Libby leaves many family and friends including her sister Ms. Colwell Cook, formerly of Augusta, GA.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church with Rev. Ed Rees officiating. Interment will follow beginning at 2:30 P.M. at Northview Cemetery 1300 N. Franklin Street, Dublin, GA 31021.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
