Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, September 28, 2013, Lillian K. Nobles, 92.
Mrs. Nobles was a longtime member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church. She never missed attending the Smith Sunday School class in 20 years. She was also a member of the Robert Taylor Sunday School class. She was part of the staff of Mother’s Day Out at the church when it first opened.
Family members include son: Eddie Nobles, Jr. and wife Lucille of Martinez, GA; dear friends and loving caregivers: Carol Cawley and Myrtice Pearce. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years: Eddie Nobles, Sr.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will include: Jim Davis, Charlie Evans, Steve Sharpe, Bobby Barnes, Freddie Lambert, and Kenny Badkey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church, 1330 Monte Sano Avenue, Augusta, GA 30904.
