Lillian Anderson Toole

Lillian Anderson Toole, 94, passed away May 22, 2021. Born in Aiken, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Brooks "Brookie" and Irene Griffin Anderson and wife to the late William (Bill) Weathersbee, Marvin Abernathy, and Cecil Toole. She was a devoted follower of Christ and a member of In Focus Church.

Mrs. Toole was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed just being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Toole is survived by her sons; Ronnie Weathersbee of Hephzibah Georgia, Wayne Weathersbee and daughter Judy Ferguson of Georgetown, Texas, brother Tom Anderson of Dothan, AL, and sister, Carolyn Bazzle of Aiken, SC, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents, husbands: William (Bill) Weathersbee, Marvin Abernathy and Cecil Toole; son, Eugene (Gene) Weathersbee, brothers, John Anderson, James Anderson and Gib Anderson; sisters, Claudie Mae Drake, Frances Hallman, Gladys Bearden and Iris Aiken.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Thomas Poteet & Sons Funeral Home, 214 Davis Rd., Martinez, Georgia, with funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Rev. Tom Anderson will be officiating. Pallbearers will be: Carl Weeks, Ronnie Weathersbee, Doug Weathersbee, Michael Toole, John Knox, and Michael Buckshaw.

Interment will be at Westover Memorial Cemetery, 2601 Wheeler Road, Augusta, Georgia, immediately after the service.
