Augusta, GA – Gone to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 9, 2012, Mrs. Linda B. Bodnar, 55, wife of Mr. William Thomas “Tommy” Bodnar.
Linda was a native of Augusta. She was a loving person and was generous to a fault with everyone she knew. She especially loved helping others less fortunate. She was a sewing, quilting, and stamping enthusiast. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of two new grandchildren. Her favorite thing in life was to spend time with her grandson, Noah. He was the light of her life. Linda was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and we will miss her smile.
Family members in addition to her husband include mother; Gehl Barton; daughters: Ashley Storey, her husband Joey, and their son, Noah, Amber Hill and husband Zachary; brother: Russell Barton and wife June; sister: Nancy Barton; many nieces and nephews; and beloved dog: Olivia. She is preceded in death by her father, George T. Barton, and her brother, George T. Barton, Jr.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 13, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Hal Hodgens and Rev. Bryan Cockrell officiating.
