Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Thursday, March 16, 2023, Florie Linda Derrick, 74.
Linda was born in Statesboro, GA but made Augusta her home for many years. She was a founding member of New Life Church and devoted member of New Life Worship Center. Linda enjoyed traveling with friends and will be remembered by all as a loving mother and grandmother.
Family members include her children: Daniel Derrick (Michelle), Michael Derrick, Tammy Thrasher (Mark); grandchildren: Kayla Devito (Matt), Lindsey Derrick, Madison Jackson, Matthew Coleman Derrick, Victory Thrasher, Mark Thrasher Jr. and Demetria Scott. Linda was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Florie Coleman.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Phillip Maxwell and Pastor Terry Eubanks officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to SafeHomes, Inc., P.O. Box 3187, Augusta, GA 30914.
