Augusta, GA – Mrs. Linda N. Burkman entered into rest on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at her residence after a four year battle with Breast Cancer.
She is survived by her husband: William Louis Burkman; sons: Douglas W. Burkman, Kenneth E. Burkman and Bryan G. Burkman; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Burkman was a native of Shreveport, LA and lived in Augusta for the last two years. She was very artistic and had worked as a floral designer and a pottery instructor. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Advent Lutheran Church.
A memorial service will be held at Advent Lutheran Church on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Matthew S. Lash officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
