Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, May 15, 2018, Mrs. Linda E. Schindler, 74, loving wife to the late LTC Hallman “Hal” W. Schindler.

Mrs. Schindler was a native of Augusta, but for many years had resided in Melbourne, FL. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force and she loved to travel. Mrs. Schindler spent many years as a homemaker but also worked in customer service with Carnival Cruise Lines.

Family members include her brother: Justin Pittman and wife Cecilia; nieces: Allison Tihey and husband John, Lara Galloway and husband Richard, Emily Maguire and husband Mike, Jessica Axton and husband Kevin; nephew: James Bentley and wife Holly; and 13 great nieces and nephews.

A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Augusta Memorial Gardens with Rev. Will Dyer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way Ext, Augusta, GA 30909.
