Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, January 4, 2014, Lisa Brinson Baxter, 54, wife of Robert “Bobby” Baxter.
Mrs. Baxter was a member of St. James United Methodist Church. She loved the Alabama Crimson Tide and had a heart of gold. She loved children and was a very loving and giving person. She worked in the child care industry.
In addition to her husband, family members include sons: Chris R. Baxter, W. Kyle Baxter, both of Augusta, GA; grandchildren: Elizabeth M. Baxter, Wesley Wyatt Baxter; sister: Vickie Anne Ellis (Brian); mother: Faye E. Huff (George); uncle: Lt. William B. Whaley (Linda); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her brother: Gary Elliott Brinson, father: Gary G. Brinson,uncle: E. Wesley Elliott, and father-in-law: Robert V. Baxter, Sr.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. James United Methodist Church with Rev. Sandra D. Leightner officiating. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James United Methodist Church, 439 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at
