Lisa Shearer Williams
Evans, GA-Lisa Shearer Williams, age 36, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, May 8, 2016; where she joined her daddy, Robert Shearer, Sr., who preceded her in death.
Lisa was the loving wife of Jimmy Williams and had three children. "Momma's Three Angels" ~ Morgan Taylor Williams, Trey Williams, and Addie Mae Williams, all of Evans. Loved ones are her mother, Diane James Shearer (Evans, GA), brother Robbie Shearer and sister-in-law Jean Shearer (Evans, GA), niece Courtney Shearer (fiancé Kevin Stokes), nephews Evan Shearer and Easton Shearer (Evans, GA), grandmother Nettie James (Evans, GA), aunts Sue Smith (Ben) of Grovetown, GA and Debbie Chassereau (Bill) of Evans, GA; uncle Cecil James of Grovetown, GA; cousins Stephanie Cheshire (Evans, GA), Melissa Barton (Hilton Head Is, SC), and Jennifer Luttrell (Adam) of Knoxville, TN. Grandmother Jodie Shearer (Newbern, NC), aunts Janice Hudgins (Maysville, NC), Judy Lamar (Washington, GA), and Sherry Ingram (Washington, GA); uncle Mike Shearer (Newbern, NC). Mother-in-law Yong Williams (Evans, GA), sister-in-law Judy Altman Poole (Evans, GA), nieces Samantha Altman Schofield and Hannah Altman (Evans, GA); nephew Chris Altman and her beloved pet, Bailey Brown.
Lisa was born and raised in Augusta, GA. She was a graduate of G.P. Butler High School, class of '97. She was the secretary for R. E. Shearer Construction Company and Shear-Wood, Inc. She was currently working on getting a degree in nursing. The most important thing in Lisa's life was her family. She was a devoted mother and very involved in every aspect of her children's lives. She enjoyed trips to the beach and cruises with family and friends. She welcomed her children's friends into her home and treated them as her own. Her love and devotion will never be forgotten and she will surely be missed.
Lisa's family would like to acknowledge Chris Schiffbauer (Doctors Hospital) for all the love and support he gave to Lisa in caring for her. Chris is like extended family to all. We are forever grateful! To God Be the Glory...
Lisa attended Stevens Creek Church. The funeral service will be Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Denny Mack and Rev. Todd Sturgell officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Greg Cowart, Jimmy Huffman, Sammy Doolittle, Michael Dansby, Adam Luttrell, and Eric Skinner.
