Lisa Ann Volpitto

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest February 20, 2013, Lisa Ann Volpitto, 46, loving wife and mother of Dr. David Volpitto and Tessa Nicole Volpitto.

Lisa was born in Augusta and was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County, Augusta College, the Medical College of Georgia, and the University of South Carolina - School of Medicine. Lisa was a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). She was a dedicated wife and mother who touched the lives of many people. She was a strong selfless and compassionate person loved by all that she came in contact with.

Other family members include stepdaughter: Nina Bell and her husband Ryan; stepson: Scott Volpitto; father: William “Bill” C. Howard and wife Linda; brothers: Greg Howard and wife Wendy, Brian Howard and wife Joanne, Chris Howard and wife Sharon; nephews: Justin Howard and wife Devin, Brandon Howard and wife Tiffany, Dylan, Christopher and Chandler; niece: Kaitlyn; Three step-grandchildren: Ella, Halle and Carson Bell. She was preceded in death by her mother: Janice Maxine Howard and her grandmother: Elizabeth Standfill.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Paul Volpitto and Rev. Gary Dean officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502, in honor of her mother.
