Louis McClure
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, September 15, 2012 at EAMC, Mr. Louis McClure, 80, husband of Mrs. Charlotte McClure.
Mr. McClure was born in Edray, WV. At a young age he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Korean War. He later made a career for himself in the US Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was a veteran of Vietnam, the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Cyprus War. Mr. McClure was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was an active member of Social Lodge #1, Free and Accepted Masons, where he was Past Master.
Family members in additions to his wife include: son: Al McClure and wife Nittaya; grandson: Soonthorn McClure; cousins: Scott McClure, Billy Sheets, Diane Cornell, Ruthie Morral and Barbara Wilke.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
