Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Monday, March 19, 2018, Louise Janelle Lofton, 83.
Ms. Lofton was a native of Louisville, GA and lived in Augusta most of her life. She was a servant of the Lord, both at home and at Gracewood State School and Hospital, where she retired as a Nursing Assistant. Ms. Lofton loved and was dedicated to her family.
Family members include her daughter: Yvonne Small; son: Don Powell (Jeanette), grandchildren: Heather Marie Wilson (Larry), Megan Louise Powell, George Kapoudas, Maria Kapoudas Rivera; great grandchildren: Natalie Cosnahan, Bryce Johnson, Sofia Grace Wilson and Ariella Rivera.
A funeral service will be Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Warren Hamm officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
