Augusta, GA - Mrs. Louise Mosely Partridge, 102, wife of the late Jack Partridge, entered into rest on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Lake Crossing in Leah, Georgia. Mrs. Partridge was born on July 4, 1914, in Leah. She attended Damascus Baptist Church as a child and graduated as salutatorian from Leah High School in 1931.

She was employed by J. B. White’s Department Store in Augusta, Georgia, as a bookkeeper until 1982. She was an avid flower gardener and dedicated mother of five boys. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Evans for many years. She enjoyed taking long walks, sewing, and reading a good book.

She is survived by her son Douglas Partridge, eighteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and eighteen great-great-grandchildren. In addition, her dedicated daughters-in-law include Donnie Amerson, Wanda Partridge, Zandra Tullis, and Mary Lee Partridge. She is preceded in death by four of her sons: Luther “Ned” Partridge, Ronnie Partridge, Jimmy Partridge, and Donald Partridge and two daughters-in-law Cindy and Marian.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all of her wonderful caretakers at Elmcroft Assisted Living Home in Martinez for their many years of loving care.

The visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Evans, Monday, May 2, 2016, at 2 PM, with a memorial service to follow at 3 PM. Following the service, burial will be at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Evans, PO Box 159, Evans, Georgia 30809.
