Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Saturday, October 1, 2016, Mrs. Lowell B. Slaton, 98, loving wife of 40 years to the late Ernest G. Slaton.
Mrs. Slaton retired from Civil Service at Ft. Gordon. She was a member of the Augusta Elks Club and Aidmore Auxiliary.
Family members include her nephews: Jeffrey Donnell Murray, John LeVan Murray and wife Carolyn, Benjamin Neil Murray and wife Melissa, Ernest Craig Murray and wife Denise; niece: Julie Slaton Carroll. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Marguerite B. Murray and Donnell Murray.
The family would like to thank Cora Holt, Mary Mitchell, Toria Murray, Jeanette Winfrey, Heartland Hospice, and Dr. Drew Van Alstine for their compassionate care.
A graveside service will be Monday, October 3, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Tabor United Methodist Church, 244 S. Main St., Ridgeville, SC 29472.
