LTC Eugene T. Fealko US Army (retired)

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on February 11, 2025, LTC Eugene T. Fealko, US Army (retired).

He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Rose Marie Fealko; sons: Brian Fealko (Melanie), the late Gary Fealko. Grandsons: Robert Fealko (Caty), Steven Fealko (Whitney), great grandchildren: Bert, Evelyn and Millie; niece: Sandi Cauffield of Florida; nephew: Dennis Easterday (Kathryn) of Ohio.

Gene was born and grew up in Warren, Ohio. He was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and Kent State University. He was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in the US Army and served 20 years. He continued his career with the Civil Service at Fort Gordon as an instructor. During his Army career Gene served one tour in Korea and one tour in Vietnam. He was stationed at Ft. Benning, Ft. Holabird, the Pentagon, Germany and finally Ft. Gordon. 

Family would like to thank Georgia war veterans nursing home for all their love and care in the last 5 1/2 years. A private burial will be held at a later date at Westover Memorial Park.
