LTC Frank Vo

Martinez, GA – Entered into rest at his residence on Thursday, December 19, 2024, LTC Frank Nhon Vo, Vietnamese Air Force, husband of the late Mrs. May Dinh Vo.

Frank was born in Saigon and was a Wing Commander in the Vietnamese Air Force. In 1975, Frank fled Vietnam with his family to the United States. His first job was as a mechanic at Daniel Field, a step down from being a Wing Commander. While he continued to earn a living for his family in a new country, he attended night school, working towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He then began a new career as a computer engineer with Avondale Mill. 

Family members are his children: Thao Vo Tran (Thanh), Hieu Vo Luu (Phuoc), Hanh Phuong Vo-Booker (Chris), and Diana May Vo (Nicolas Greenfield); grandchildren: Diana Tran (Matt Sansevere), Matthew Tran, Benjamin Tran (Sara), Phillip Tran, Jessica Luu, Angela Luu, Christopher Luu, Catherine Luu, Elizabeth Luu, Andrew Booker, Christopher Booker, Sydney Booker, William Greenfield, Jacob Greenfield, and Leila Greenfield. Great grandchildren: Ava Jane Tran, Aleia May Ngoc Nguyen and Kayto Hai Khanh Nguyen. He is preceded in death his wife and by a grandson: Aaron Booker.

The funeral Mass will be held celebrated on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
