Augusta, GA – Born in the Philippines on October 31, 1936. Went to be with the Lord June 5, 2023 in Piedmont Hospital, Augusta GA. She was a Pharmacy graduate in Centro Escolar University Manila Philippines, became Miss Pharmacy in college. Work as Food Chemist, drink Chemist and in MCG Laboratory In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Married to Sol R Esperanza, Mechanical Engineer With Bechtel. They had 2 children. Marie-Lina B Esperanza (RIP at 44 years old) missionary to South Korea for 2 years and married to Peter Simpson missionary to Honduras. Joel B Esperanza, Master and Doctorate in Medical Illustration. Dean of a University in Atlanta at the age of 30.
Family members include her brother and sister: Buenaventura Bautista (RIP), children: Benju Bautista and Joshua Bautista and Parker Bautista, son of Benju: Brooklyn Bautista, daughter of Benju: Rowena Dechavez and Irma Surie; Jesus Bautista, children: Edie Bautista, Elmer Bautista, Evangeline Moreno, Jonathan Bautista; Astor Jr. (RIP) children: Nonie Bautista, Techie Bautista, and Lyn Bautista; Matilde Marin, children: Marvin Marin and Vincent Marin. She is preceded in death by her parents, Astor and Catalina Bautista.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 5:00 P.M. at Warren Baptist Church. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service, beginning at 4:00 P.M., at the church.
