Hephzibah, GA – Entered into rest Friday, February 13, 2015, Mrs. Lucile S. Dickson, 94, wife to the late Randolph Jefferson Dickson.
Mrs. Dickson was born in Waycross, GA but grew up in Augusta. She graduated from Tubman Girls School. She retired after 30 years of Civil Service at Fort Gordon. She was a longtime member and past President of the Iris Garden Club and former member of the Christian Women’s Club. She was also a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church and the T.E.L. Sunday School Class. She was a loving wife and mother and a guiding light to her family.
Family members include son: Jim Dickson (Carolyn); daughter: Elaine D. Haddock; grandchildren: Dianne Dickson Reynolds (Robert), David Russell Dickson (Chris), Ryan Randolph-Dickson Mock (Deserie), Kyle Patrick Keats, William Dylan Keats; several nieces and nephews and numerous great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be Monday, February 16, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. John Beck officiating. Following the service, a private family burial will be in Hephzibah City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Trent Lee, Jamie Lester, Harvey Lee Stirewalt, Jr., Charles Burge, Ryan Mock, and Robert Reynolds.
