Hephzibah, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, January 10, 2017, Mrs. Lucille B. Parrish Smith, 87, loving wife of 58 years to the late Mr. Marion C. Smith, who passed away in 2008.
Mrs. Smith was a loving mother and devoted wife. She was a native of Emanuel County but lived in Augusta for 68 years. She graduated from Waynesboro High School and retired after 30 plus years from Gracewood State School and Hospital.
Family members include: one daughter; Freda Chalker and husband Timothy. She is preceded in death by her parents: mother; Elizabeth Edenfield Parrish, father; Jessie W. Parrish and seven brothers and one sister.
A graveside service will be Saturday, January 14, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Westview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contribution be made to Alzheimer’s/Dementia Association, 106 SRP Drive, Suite A, Evans, GA 30809.
