Lucy Drew

Augusta, GA – Lucia Susan Drew snuggled into the arms of Christ on January 26th, 2023. “Lucy” is survived by her parents, James (Jim) and Emily Drew, and her siblings, Karly, John, Robert, and Sarah. She was loved dearly by her grandparents Jimmy and Evangeline Drew and Crystal and Danny Craig as well as her Aunt Martha and Uncle Heard and many cousins who all lovingly awaited her due date.

Lucy was the most active baby her parents had the privilege of seeing on a sonogram. She danced constantly across the screen. She was filled with joy and personality, and her family delighted in each moment they were able to spend with her upon her arrival.

The family would like to especially thank to Dr Ware and Dr Morgan of Piedmont Hospital and the incredible nursing staff of Piedmont maternity wing for their precious care of Baby Lucy.

The family takes comfort in knowing she will be laid to rest beside her Aunt Sarah, who preceded her in death. Father Ingram will help the family lay Lucy to rest in a private service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a local Augusta Catholic School or the Augusta Chapter of the Upside of Downs.
