Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Mrs. Luitgard “Lucy” Kumiski, 83, wife of the late Donald G. Kumiski, Sr.
Mrs. Kumiski was born in Heidelberg, Germany and resided in Augusta. She was a homemaker and member of the German American Club. Mrs. Kumiski was a member of a bowling league at Brunswick Bowling Lanes on Gordon Highway. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Family members include daughter, Michelle Kumiski; son, Donald Kumiski, Jr. and wife Donna; two grandchildren: Jennifer and Shelby Kumiski; and sisters: Renate and Cora.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 3:30 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Father Michael Lubinsky officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:30 P.M. until time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2807 Washington Rd, Suite B146, Augusta, GA 30909, or Augusta Humane Society, PO Box 12035, Augusta, GA 30914-2035.
