Luke McNair

Evans, GA - Luke Andrew McNair, 35, loving husband of Brooke Ashley McNair (Mixon) entered into rest on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. 

Luke was born on September 6, 1988, to Tim and Tawnya McNair in Thomasville, GA. His passion for The Lord was undeniable and at an early age many noticed he had a calling to share the gospel. The light that Luke shined through his relationship with The Lord was contagious and many lives were touched by the assurance he had in his Faith. He stayed active and enjoyed being outside, which led him to complete a portion of hiking the Appalachian Trail. Luke will also be remembered by his love for worshiping through music and playing the piano.

In addition to his wife and parents, family members include his daughter: Avereigh Faith McNair; son: Hayden Kerwin; brother: Adam McNair; mother and father-in-law: Wade and Frieda Mixon; brother-in-law: Tristan Mixon (Bethany); and niece: Emmons Mixon. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Buck and Mildred McNair, and maternal grandparents, Tommy and Betty Ellis.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 27 at 10:00 AM at The Sanctuary and the funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mike Ogden and Craig George officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Adam McNair, Brian Wages, Rick Ivester, Joseph Allen, Michael Erwin and Scott McComb. Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers from FORGE, New Beginnings in Christ and Prodigal Ministries.
