Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at St. John Towers, Mrs. Lynda Jarrell Moore, 62, wife of the late Michael C. Moore.
Mrs. Moore was a native of Augusta. She graduated from Augusta College with a degree in Early Childhood Special Education. Mrs. Moore taught Special Education in Virginia and South Carolina. She had a long and happy marriage with her husband, Michael C. Moore, PhD, with whom she co-authored The Complete Handbook of Holistic Health. She will be missed by her many friends and family.
Family members include her sisters: Barbie Jarrell of Augusta, Sandy Jarrell Sanders of St. Simons Island, GA; brother, Thomas “Jeff” Jarrell, Jr. of Martinez; stepmother, Lois S. Jarrell; stepsister, Lois “Cissy” Brantley (Allen) of Charlotte, NC; parents: the late Thomas J. Jarrell, Sr. and the late Jeanne Culpepper Jarrell; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March19, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service.
