Mt. Carmel, TN –Mrs. Madonna G. Gilliam, 68, entered into rest Thursday, May 28, 2009.
Mrs. Gilliam was a native of Ohio, but was raised in Augusta and graduated from the Academy of Richmond County in 1959. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Gate City, VA.
Family members include her husband: Leonard W. Gilliam of Mt. Carmel, TN, daughter: Lisa Beasley of Augusta; son: Clay Wright of Harlem; grandson: Chase Wright: Brother: William T. Kavanagh and wife Sylvia of Evans and uncle and aunt: Bob Smith, Jr. and Nina Smith of Augusta. Mrs. Gilliam was preceded in death by her parents: William and Carolyn Kavanagh and maternal grandparents: Robert and Madonna Smith.
Cryptside services will be held Monday, June 1, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in Westover Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Michael Roverse officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Easter Seal Foundation, In memory of Madonna G. Gilliam, 233 South Wacker Drive, Suite 2400, Chicago, IL 60606.
