Mae Neal Fleming

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Sunday, January 3, 2021, Mrs. Mae Neal Fleming, 71, loving wife of the late Ronald Fleming.

Mae was a lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a Columbia County Board of Education bus driver for many years.

Family members include her daughters: Tammy Lynn Stanfield (Jim) of Grafton, OH and Tracie Lee Anderson (Wayne) of North Augusta SC; grandchildren: Joseph Stanley, Joel Emeneker, Lisa Stanfield, Jenna Stanfield, Tiffany Brown, Taylor Padgett and Trevor Anderson, 9 great grandchildren; and sister: Murl Meyer. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Neal, and sister, Cecil Rachels.

A special thank you to Hands of Grace Hospice, Ann Tapley’s Personal Care Home and all of their staff members for the love and compassion shown to Mae and her family during her sickness. Mae was a loving mother, grandmother affectionately known to some as Lil Granny and others as Lanny. She gave her heart to her family and always referred to them all as “Her Babies”.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at Republican Baptist Church, Republican Road, North Augusta, SC.
