Mrs. Jackson was a member at West Acres Baptist Church. She worked at University Hospital in the newborn nursery and was a Nurse at the Academy of Richmond County retiring in 1977.
Family members in addition to her husband include son: Rev. Terry Jackson and wife Kaye of Evans; daughters: Deborah Jackson of Clayton, NC, Rhonda Herndon and husband Ralph of Evans, Kitty Kupitz and husband Craig of Evans; 8 grandchildren; and brother: Willis Godowns of Woodbury, GA.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Terry Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Ways Baptist Church Cemetery in Stellerville, GA at 2:30 P.M.
