Augusta, GA-- Ms. Malissa Dawkins Ward, 70, entered into rest Friday, January 7, 2011 at her home.
Malissa was a native of Lincolnton and the daughter of the late William Horace Dawkins and the late Marian Tullis Dawkins.
Family members include her children: Randall Butler (Krista) of West Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Leesa Butler Burney of Augusta, and Sherrie Butler Hill (Richard) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren: Casey Burney, Cory Singletary; sisters: Lou Dawkins Coakley and Carol Dawkins Pennington. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Jack Ward.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 2:00 P.M.
