Evans, GA - Entered into rest on Wednesday, January 1,2025, Amanda Jade Postell, 41.
Mandy was an exceptional young woman. She was loving, selfless, giving, and hilarious as described by her son, Parker. Born with a servant’s heart, Mandy became a Christian at an early age and continued to be involved in numerous ministries. As she grew closer to the Lord Mandy lived for Jesus and wanted nothing more than to glorify Him with all her endeavors. Two that were dear to her heart were 143 Ministry/Catherines Way and Arise International Ministries.
Mandy was blessed with many special gifts that were expressed through her selfless acts of giving and creativity. She loved doing things for others and was known for her personalized gift baskets. These gifts were freely given. She never needed a reason; she just saw the need.
Mandy was also richly blessed with her ability to sing. She surrounded herself with music as she began singing in the church at the age of three.
Along with her passion for singing, she had the same love for capturing priceless moments of families and children with her photography business.
In Mandy’s leisure time she loved going to the beach with her family and friends.
As much as Mandy was loved, she loved even harder.
She cherished many relationships. The two most important were being the mother of her greatest blessing, Parker and being “Mimi “and godmother to Colton, the son of her best friend Lacey.
Family members include her greatest blessing, son: Parker Fox; mother: Donna Parker Postell; sister: Becky Black; grandmother: Betty Sue Parker; nephews: Brett Black, Andrew Black, Brady Black; nieces: Abby Black ( Steven Rice), Carsyn Black Anderson (Matt); aunts and uncles: Debbie and David Huguenin, Sandy and Charlie Lanier, Greg Postell, Tony and (Donna) Postell, and many other loving family members.
She is preceded in death by her father: Derrell Armstrong Postell and grandparents: Alvin and Dorothy Postell and Raiford J. Parker.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 6, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at West Acres Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Parker Fox, Brett Black, Brady Black, Andrew Black, Mason Miller, Anthony Sweat, Steven Rice and Matt Anderson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Arise International Ministries P.O. Box 2825 Evans, Ga, 30809.
