Mrs. Blackmon was a native of Germany before moving to the United States. She retired as a housekeeper after 30 years of service at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County, NJ. Mrs. Blackmon was a member of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church.
Family members include sons: William J. Blackmon, James Blackmon and Reinhardt Fehlner, daughters: Patricia Rimbey (Charles) and Christa Fehlner, sister: Maria Samhuber, brothers: Joseph Fehlner, Alfons Fehlner and Gustav Fehlner, 14 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
