Martinez, GA – Margaret Ciezkowski , widow of Stanley Ciezkowski-to whom she had been married for 65 years-died on Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at the age of 95. She was a lady of strong constitution and strong beliefs and,as she wished, lived in her own home until the end.
Margaret was born in New York and moved to Martinez, GA in 1991. In addition to being a housewife and mother, she was the Secretary of the American Spaniel Club for 25 years. She found joy in caring for her family, as well as the flora and fauna that God put on this earth.
Margaret leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Joan Genchi of Port Jefferson, NY and Judy Vaggi (Ralph) of Martinez, GA, as well as her granddaughters, Monique Genchi, Valarie Genchi, Chrissy Ringo (Tim), and Terri McNeely (Chad), great grandchildren, Lauren McNeely, Amanda Blacknik, Brandon Ringo and Alexa Ringo.
A Funeral Mass will be Saturday August 1, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, 372 E. Main Street, Smithtown, NY 11787 in her name.
