Margaret L. Diacetis

Blairsville, GA – Margaret Blithe Diacetis, 72, beloved wife of Clifford Wayne Diacetis, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

Margaret was born in Milledgeville, GA and grew up in Augusta, GA. Margaret graduated from Butler High School, where she met the love of her life Wayne. After marriage, they lived in Rhode Island, Jacksonville, FL and finally relocated back to the CSRA. Margaret worked as a computer programmer at Thermal Ceramics for 28 years and later at Augusta Sportswear. Margaret’s main passion was her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed quilting and sewing as well as traveling, riding motorcycles and camping.

Family members in addition to her husband of 52 years, include her son: Christopher Dee Diacetis (Cherol); grandchildren: Nicholas Ryan, Jacob Tyler and Sarah Katherine Diacetis; sisters: Jean Blithe McKettrick and Mary Kay Blithe Lovett (Jerry); brother: William Ronald Blithe and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation serving GA, 270 Peachtree St., Suite 1040, Atlanta, GA 30303.
