Augusta, GA – Funeral services for Margaret Elizabeth (Walker) Staulcup will be, Wednesday, September 19, 2012, 3:00 P.M, at Thomas Poteet & Son Chapel with Father Daniel McAughey and Bishop Greg Francisco officiating.

Margaret was born July 1, 1924, the daughter of Henry Grady and Maggie Bertha (Lott) Walker. She was a member of St. Luke’s Anglican Catholic Church and served in the Women’s Guild. She was a member of the square dance community since the 1950’s - a member of the Star Promenaders and the Load The Boaters Square Dance Clubs.

Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Leland Earl Staulcup, and children, James Staulcup and wife Martha Anne, Rita (Staulcup) Vaughan and husband Thomas, Lynn Staulcup and wife Linda; grandchildren: Elizabeth Chavis (Jonathan), Joy Staulcup, Daniel Vaughan (Shinta), Dr. Keith Vaughan (Cielito), Ginger DiCarlo (Michael), Melanie Infantino (Tom) and David Staulcup (Kathy); great grandchildren: Baileigh Goolsby, Rennie Chavis, Sarah, Paige and Eli Infantino, Hannah and Reagan Vaughan, Ava Vaughan, Aaron and Ben Staulcup and Dylan and Katie DiCarlo; and her sister Roma Odom.

Pallbearers will be Lt. Dan Vaughan, USN, Dr. Keith Vaughan, David Staulcup, Gene Staulcup, Karl Staulcup and R.B. Barbee. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

The family request that no flowers be sent; for those wishing to make memorial contributions, St. Luke’s Anglican Catholic Church at 3081 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30909 or to George Walton Masonic Lodge #699 Trust Fund at PO Box 5543, Augusta, GA 30916.
