Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, December 31, 2014, Mrs. Margaret Steed Hargrove, 86, wife to the late Julian C. Hargrove.
Mrs. Hargrove was born in Winfield, GA but raised in Old Ellenton, SC. She graduated from Riverside School of Nursing in Jacksonville, FL in 1949. She was a registered nurse for 46 years, many of which she was employed in the University Healthcare System.
Family members include her daughter: Terry Heath (Gene) of North Augusta, SC; sons: Dr. Stuart Bonner (Connie) of Rutherfordton, NC, Christopher Hargrove (Pam) of Augusta, GA; stepson: Craig Hargrove of Texas; grandchildren: Meg Heath, Suzanna Hall (Travis), Harry Heath, Payton Hargrove, Carter Hargrove; and 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Broome officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
