Margaret Louise Lewis
Augusta, GA - Margaret Louise Marshall Lewis went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2014. Louise was born in the family home on Druid Park Avenue in Augusta, GA on April 23, 1921, to Otto W. Marshall Sr. and Margaret Bradley Marshall. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years William (Bill) Lewis and her three brothers, John R. Marshall and Otto W. Marshall Jr., both of Augusta, and Howard O. Marshall of Jacksonville.
After the birth of her child, David, during World War II, she began work in sales at Davison's (Macy’s). She retired over three decades later after advancing to Department Manager and Buyer of intimate apparel and related departments. Louise and Bill lived for many years at the corner of Heath Dr. and Berckman Rd. before retiring to their beloved cottage on Clark Hill Lake. They ultimately relocated in 1997 to Brandon Wilde community in Evans, GA.
In the early years the family attended Hill Baptist Church in Augusta, and later Louise and Bill were active members of Double Branches Church in Lincolnton, GA.
